Notes de l'auteur: Theo Bakelaar, to this man we owe the catch of large numbers of fish, because it was the pioneer who brought the "gold beads" or "beads heads" to the fly tying world in the the eighties and early nineties. And the gold beads or bead heads earned a privileged place in the fly boxes of millions of fishermen and today are an almost irreplaceable building material in many nymphs and streamers.This fly, which I used for over 15 years with great success in the rivers of northern Patagonia, is an adapted version of the Biot Stone Theo Bakelaar version.

Représente la perle noire, la plus répandue. Beau modèle en noir (couleur la plus fréquente). Dans la catégorie des mouches réalistes (imitatives). Voir la confection des pattes en biot d’oie, il taille au ciseau le biot de la patte postérieure pour figurer celle de tête (astucieux et économie de deux biots).
Noter l’utilisation du fil élastique noir à la place du fil de cuivre. La couleur du dubbing du corps pourrait être le N°58 Vert foncé de Rico Merino Aran cerclé de noir (lorsqu'on fait soi-même son dubbing à partir de laine à tricoter) apporte un bon contraste. Cette couleur est très intéressante car tirant sur le noir tout en gardant un fond vert foncé, quant au thorax il sera en dubbing noir.
